Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives in the relentless pursuit of new business in the assigned territory. The Manager will recruit, develop and coach the team to achieve success in a high activity sales model. This position contributes to Telesphere's success by leading efforts to maximize the achievement of revenue growth and market share through the acquisition of new customer logos. This will be accomplished by providing strong leadership, direction, and guidance to the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Direct Sales Representatives responsible for presenting Telesphere's fully hosted VoIP voice, data, and Internet services to potential clients. Products included but not limited to T1, Point to Point, MPLS and PBX replacement.
- Manage a portion of the sales efforts to raise Telesphere's visibility and market penetration in order to meet and exceed monthly revenue objectives.
- Inspire sales team to meet performance objectives - reward positive performance and closely manage poor performance.
- Quickly recognize colleagues who are underperforming and takes appropriate corrective action.
- Accurately assess the strengths and weaknesses of others and assemble, deploy develop, empower and inspire the right talent, at the right time, to get the job done.
- Manage a high activity sales model, and drive daily results and accountability.
- Develop and refine professional skills in individuals on sales team
- Manage hiring process for sales team.
- Actively engage in the recruiting process to ensure headcount objectives are met. Closely monitor turnover within team.
- Meet management objectives regarding activity, headcount and sales results.
- Orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal.
- Utilize evaluation and tracking systems to accurately report sales numbers, monthly forecasts and expenses.
- Maintain expertise in sales process and system management.
- Provide accurate and timely information as required.
- Implement sales plans designed to increase sales activity, 30, 60, & 90 day funnels, and sales skill set ratios.
- Develop and implement plans and programs for improving and monitoring sales performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy in accordance with overall business objectives.

Job Requirements
- Past success managing a team of outside sales professionals to achieve consistent success, preferably in the telecom or technology services industries.
- Demonstrated success in sales, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage colleagues, clients and vendors in a sales/service environment.
