Michael Simmons - TeleSphere General Manager - Las Vegas

Michael Simmons, general manager for TeleSphere, is responsible for overseeing sales, customer service and the technical support staff in the Las Vegas area.

After working for three years with the FBI in Washington, D.C., Simmons moved west to work on his master’s degree and developed his first interest in technology. He worked with the National Association of Cellular Agents (NACA) to develop software that would help cellular agents reconcile activations against the carrier to ensure accuracy. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he became a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).

With more than 20 years in the technology industry, Simmons has worked with manufacturers, value-added resellers (VARS) and ultimately started his own integration company, MAS Enterprises, in 1987.

In 2004, in anticipation of Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) becoming a mainstream technology, he launched a separate company, Protocall Communications, which specialized in hosted VoIP services and Internet Protocol Communications.

Simmons earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a master’s degree with a concentration in theology from the Glendale Graduate School of Theology.
