Derek Sandhoff – GM for Denver

Mr. Sandhoff joined Telesphere in December of 2009 as General Manager of the Denver Market.  He is a respected leader with a combined 12 years of sales, marketing, financial, operations and general management experience. 

Prior to joining Telesphere, Mr. Sandhoff opened the Denver Market for Allegiance Telecom in 2000 after being promoted from the Dallas Market.   As City Vice President, Mr. Sandhoff was recognized with frequent awards including “Vice President of the Year”;  “City Award of Excellence Winner” and the “Star of Excellence” among others.  Mr. Sandhoff became the Market Director for McLeodUSA in 2006 where he was responsible for sales and service in Denver. 

Mr. Sandhoff received his bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is still active with the University of Texas and is a member of Silver Spurs Alumni Association, Texas Exes and the Longhorn Foundation. He is a committed volunteer and supporter of the Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Hospital and enjoys most sports and outdoor activities, especially baseball. He is an avid fly fisherman and regularly coaches his son’s youth sports teams.
