Senior Voice Engineer

Responsibilities

Senior Voice Engineer will be part of Telesphere's core engineering team and will provide engineering services for Telesphere's voice products and network.  The Engineer will also be responsible for product development activities in support of new product initiatives.  Engineer will also interface with customers and Telesphere sales teams assisting in solution design and development for customer opportunities.  Engineer will also be part of our Telesphere Tier 2 support and will be responsible for fielding support calls as per Tier 2 call handling requirements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of a professional life based on honesty and integrity
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project needs
  • 5+ years experience that includes engineering, deploying and troubleshooting VoIP
  • Must possess IP networks routing/switching skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative and make independent decisions
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess solid organizational skills and be self-motivated
  • Ability to approach problems analytically and methodically
  • Experience managing 3-5 people as a team lead or similar
  • Able to portray knowledge and make presentations to clients
  • Experience in higher level application tasks
  • Must be able to work flexible hours that may include evenings and weekend change windows
  • CISCO certifications (CCNA, CCVP, CCNP)
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
