Director of Indirect Channel
Department: Sales
Reports to: VP Sales - Corporate HQ in Scottsdale, AZ

The Ideal candidate for this position will have successful experience
in building a National Indirect Channel sales department in the
telecommunication industry. They will need to possess exceptional
leadership skills with a passion and dedication for training,
mentoring, and coaching the agent or reseller community. This candidate
will be responsible for creating a National program, developing
strategy for growth, and aggressively driving Indirect Channel Managers
and the agent community to meet and exceed the prescribed business plan
for Telesphere.
To be successful in this position requires the ability to build and
execute against a strategic plan while managing the overall operations
and performance of the channel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop short/medium/long term business plan and strategies to
achieve indirect channel growth and performance goals.
- Create and implement an Indirect Channel Program to include
tools, communication, contests, incentives, and training to meet and
exceed the financial and growth goals of the Indirect Channel
- Recruit, train, and support resellers (Agents and Master Agents)
of Telesphere products and services.
- Recruit, train, and support Indirect Channel Managers in
markets/regions to meet the goals of the prescribed business plan.
- Identify new market opportunities for expanded distribution
channels.
- Assist in the management of national partner relationships.
- Drive marketing support, product trainings, relationship
management and performance tracking for all Telesphere Authorized
Representatives.
- Achieves assigned business objectives. Ensuring that channel
programs, profitability gross margin metrics are consistent with
company objectives.
- Prepares forecasting of Indirect Channel sales funnel for review
and input with management.
- Assist in the selling of Telesphere products and services.
Experience/Qualifications Preferred
- 10+ years of solid indirect sales and leadership experience
- Experience identifying, recruiting, training and managing
indirect channel relationships.
- Start-up experience is a plus.
- Strong intellectual and creative abilities balanced with solid
experience in driving and achieving results.
- Strong network of industry relationships to cultivate for success.
- Aggressive, results oriented style that rewards teamwork.
- Strongest possible personal and professional ethics and
integrity.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS Required
- Proven track record in developing a predictable and sustainable
channel program
- Strong interpersonal and management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience
creating presentations and delivering them to partners, sales teams and
customer prospects.
- Must have strong technical aptitude characterized by the ability
to understand IP and IP telephony technical concepts, value proposition
and the benefits
- Strong prospecting skills and abilities
- Excellent relationship building skills with strong customer
service follow-up, solid training and influencing skills.
- Exhibits enthusiasm, high energy and a tremendous work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours to participate in evening and
weekend events.
